No post!?

Feeling rather tired today, I think I'll just blog another day, when I get the chance to use the computer.

The Kranji Secondary School Crisis

This is my 100th post on this blog, I wanted to blog about something good, but nothing good have happened this week. In fact, I think there's a crisis at my school. Ever since the new principal took over the school, she starts doing many stupid things. First, she make us do reflections for everything. I'll assume she's the one who suggested all this because my Sister never had to do all this things when she was still in the school and when the old principal was still in charge of the school. When we do reflections, most people simply just do it for the sake of doing it, it doesn't really make us reflect on anything, but I decided to just play along with her pointless plan. However, now she is suggesting to ban fried food in our canteen (I'll assume she did this again, because I cannot think of anyone who would suggest this except for her) , which I think is really ridiculous.

This is one complete pointless thing to do, because you ban fried food in school doesn't mean we can't go out to a nearby shopping centre to have fried food. She should have allowed fried food in school, because if we didn't get to eat fried food in school, we will feel even more like having fried food. And I seriously think doing this is not going to improve the fitness of Kranjians. Just because of this stupid and pointless banning of fried food, many of my favourite food can't be sold anymore, and I'm quite disgusted.

Other than banning the fried food, they also have another measure in attempt to make kranjians fitter. They add peas and corns to every freaking dish that the stores are selling. One of these days I bought malay food, and I added three dishes to my rice. This is what I added.

Sweet and Sour fish. With Peas and corns.
Fried Egg. With peas and corns.
Curry Chicken. With peas and corns.

And so I protested by not touching any of those things. Not that I like eating them. My point is that not everyone like to eat those things, and how can you force your students to eat something they don't like!? I think the next time I meet Mdm Lee, I'll ask her why don't she ban the fried rice and fried eggs too and start selling hard boiled eggs instead.

Other than carzy principal causing the crisis, the crazy juniors in the school are causing it too. It was recess and I was eating alone, with the entire bench to myself. I was sitting near to one end of the bench while another two random secondary three girls sit at the other end. Another two more girls came too, and they were friends, so I don't see why they refuses to sit down. And so I thought they were fat and needed more space, so I move to the complete end of the bench, gave a look that suggested to them to "put your ass on the bench". However, I was returned with nothing but a look of bizarre. I looked at the bench and saw that the bench was cleaner than ever and when I looked up, the two girls were standing, holding their plate in their hand and eating away.

This might be the latest trend among the juniors, but it must have been the most bizarre trend I have ever seen in my four years in this school. Another pointless thing is the pledge taking every morning. The pledge is a must-have thing, but the selection of people to lead the school in it is pointless. Just make the prefects do it, why do you have to get people from different uniform groups to do it!? Just by doing it once, does it boost your confidence? Does it train up your leadership skills? I don't think so.

With a Principal who likes doing pointless things and crazy juniors, I really don't know what is the school going to become.

In the past, when I told my friends I want to go to Kranji Secondary School, they will say, "Eeee! That school where you have to learn folk dance and hold girl's hands ah!?". I think the Primaary school kids are going to start saying this.

"Eeeeeeee! That school where you cannot eat fried food and have crazy seniors ah!?".

Other things that happened this week

I took a LRT home this week that have the heater on instead of the air-con. It was so hot inside that when I came out of it, it's as if the LRT station had air-con instead. And on the NPCC training this friday, the sir forced Min Yan and Me to start having debrief sessions with the secondary four squad starting next week. He also wants me to start to discipline the unit. And so I started doing it in the toilet with a junior, because he had been rude to one of my friend. My friends said I started off like a Ah Beng, but turn out to be like a real NCO in the end.

In one of my post last year, I said I'll post the pictures of my Sister's 21st birthday party but if I post it through blogger, it will affect the quality of the photos, and if I post it through Flickr, it will be too big, so you can go to My Psychotic Sister's blog to take a look at the great photos of her birthday party(and look at the cake which my sister designed) and also my Dad's birthday Celebration.

Can you get out of my class!?

I have nothing much to blog about this week, but I do have one thing that I want to say. I don't understand why some people likes going into other classes in between lessons. They would just come inside, give a few random remarks, and then leave. What's your point in doing that!? I don't mind you coming to talk to your friend, but please don't come in to make noise or treat the classroom like your classroom, because I seriously don't appreciate those loud random remarks.

Some of you may think that people who does this is cool, but that's just because you're a bimbo. And for people who likes doing this, this action doesn't make you look cool, it just makes you look like an immature teenager who's trying his best to get people's attention.

Hey kid! You had better join NPCC!!!

This is the first week of school and also the first week of 2008, and I had a done a few things for the first time in my life this week. I jumped queue for the first time in my life. It's my last year in the school and I am quite determined to try cutting queue for once and I did it! I know it's nothing good, but I thought I had to try doing it. I wanted to buy food from the store 7 malay store and so I did the queue cutting there.

This is also the first time I went for the secondary one orientation and try to get them into my CCA, NPCC. It was at the morning of the orientation when I got to know the orientation is on that day. I really can't figure out why am I and another few squadmates not informed about this event, but I still went for the orientation as I had never tried helping out at one of these events before. There was performance by the secondary 3 Cadets and they performed footdrill, while 4 secondary 4 cadets (yes, just 4) performed fancy drill. I did not see the performance, but I can imagine it. 4 person playing around with fake wooden rifles on stage. Wow. Must have been Spectacular, hasn't it? Even though there are some others who know fancy drill, including me, some of us were not informed.

After that I helped get some students to our booth but soon almost all of them disappeared, maybe they went home to get their parents to the school for our principal's speech at night. At the same time, some of the NPCC cadets were pitching tents at a field beside the school hall. I thought that was kind of weird. I know you people want to make use of all the time you have to practise for the upcoming Campcraft competition, and I think it's something good that you want to make use of time, but can't you see the weather is not very good? Didn't the thought that it might rain cross your mind? It starts raining soon after the tents were pitched and I am sure you people had fun trying to un-pitch the wet tents. I didn't stay for the parents session and so I went home.

On the same day, there was a rather shocking bad news as Singaporean Actor Lan Qing Xi (many people know him as MC King) passed away in the afternoon. It was not long ago when I last saw him on television and I hadn't expected this at all. He was a good comedian and actor.
