Can I have smooth meat please~

And so I had my last NPCC promotion test of my life yesterday, which I don't think I did well but still, it's over, so I should stop thinking about it. I have nothing much to blog about, except to wish you people a late Merry Christmas. It's still too early to wish you people a Happy New Year, so I'll just talk about what happened today when I went to the coffee shop beside my house to get my dinner.

The coffee shop had just reopened (for the second or the third time), and so I thought I'll go find out what new stores are there. Some of the stores are not opened yet, and there's only four stores (a chicken rice store, two noodle stores and a Zi Char store) , so I thought I'll try the chicken rice. I went to the chicken rice store auntie and said this.

Me: Can I have a packet of chicken rice, I want the white chicken and the smooth meat(in hokkien)

Store Auntie: huh?!

Me: I want the smooth meat(in chinese) (I don't know if it's she can't hear me or she don't know hokkien, but I decided to just say it in chinese)

Store Auntie(laughing): wah, so good arh, your father eat one right?

Me: No, it's for myself.

When I got home, I told my mother the whole incident and she said only little kids tell chicken rice store owners that they want smooth chicken meat in chinese. I think the auntie took me as a kid and hence the question, but maybe because she thinks I'm being cute for talking like a little boy, she gave me quite a lot of meat.

Maybe the next time I buy chicken rice, I'll make the cutest look I can ever make, and ask for smooth meat in chinese, and I might get extra meat.

The 2A'06 chalet in 2007

I thought this chalet was going to be a fun one, which some of you might think it is, but overall I think it is quite a failure. I know it is impossible for a class to remain as united as before after they are separated, but I thought the class can at least come together for a once a year class chalet. This chalet is quite a random one, so I think I'll just talk about the highlights.

Day 1

Number of people: Around 20

I was suppose to meet up with Dexter at Sheng Siong (Ten Mile Junction) and then meet up with the other girls to buy things needed for the Chalet. We were a little bit late but the girls were even more late. The meeting time was 9 am but they turned up at only 10 am. I must praise the only three girls who were not late, Min Yan, Yan Ying and Sandy, they were the only punctual ones. Dexter and I didn't want to follow the girls to shop for the things, so we asked them to buy the more heavy things and then let us take them away but they seems to ignore us, so we only took the syrup. We went up to my house, played some cards and set off to met the girls at Choa Chu Kang MRT station at 11.30 am.

We got to Pasir Ris MRT station and we bought lunch from the White Sands Shopping centre to eat at the chalet. I bought Water Rise for lunch, I ate it once and I thought it was ok in the past, but this time their stardard seems to have gone down, I don't think I'm ever going to eat it again. We took bus to the chalet which looks like a Bungalow that's rented out as a chalet. The Chalet is rather big and nice with four rooms. The boys left their bags in one of the rooms and went downstairs to play Xbox which Dexter brought along. We played cards too and soon it is BBQ time. I don't know if it's the problem with the wet BBQ pit or the lousy Charcoal bought from Sheng Siong, I heard the fire was hard to start up and hard to keep it going. If it's the problem with the Charcoal, I believe this shows how good goods from Sheng Siong are, and how good Malaysia goods are (most things from Sheng Siong is from Malaysia).

The people who's helping with the BBQ had to burn all kinds of things to keep the fire burning, paper plate, toilet paper and some other things. They burned so much toilet paper that we have only one roll left, so we will have to use them wisely. The others bought cake for those who had their birthday in December. They are Shu Fen, Yu Liang and Yu Xuan, who was not allowed to go to the chalet, but still, Happy Birthday to all of you!!! After that we got back to the BBQ. Most people didn't get to eat much (I also don't know why), and so with a not-very-successful BBQ, we sort of ended the day.

Day 2

Number of people: Around 15

A few of us decided to go to Pasir Ris park(since it is only beside our chalet) to see the sunrise at around 5 am. We sat on something like a man-made huge rock that's near to the sea and waited for a while. The atmosphere was rather weird, because there's two boys (Dexter and I) with another 5 girls. It will be romantic for couples, but not for us, so dexter suggested he teach me cycling while we wait for the sunrise. I tried learning it once in Secondary 2 during our class outing, quite a lot of people tried teaching me how to cycle at that time, but I didn't manage to learn it.

After quite some struggling, I managed to pick up the skill!!! (even though I'm not very good at it yet) I must really thank Dexter for teaching me cycling, or I might never learn how to cycle, and as I picked up the skill, Natasha managed to learned cycling too, from the other girls. Here's some advice that Dexter had given me while I'm learning cycling, maybe some of you who wants to learn cycling might like to consider heeding this advices.

1. Don't look at the ground.
2. Keep paddling.
3. Don't be afraid that you'll fall down, try to balance yourself. (I find it very hard to heed this advice)

By the time I learned cycling, it's already daytime and we can't see the sunrise, because there's too much cloud. Feeling rather disappointed, We went back to the chalet and I slept at the sofa. When I woke up, it's already 9 am and even more people have left. I ate some bread that the remaining girls cooked and went cycling with the boys, then we played Basketball and Soccer at another chalet in the park.

We went back to the chalet, took our towels, some clothes and went back to the chalet in the park to play soccer and then swim. We played some sort of Water Polo with the soccer ball and used the metal thing that's supposed to let people climb out of the water as the goal post.

We struggled to walk back to the chalet, ate the remaining bread from the morning and had a break. All of us went out to have dinner, and we treated Yu Liang to a Thailand Restaurant and all of us paid $17. The food was quite nice, the restaurant is named Lerk Thai, maybe I'll go back to eat it some other time. A few more people left that day and we went back to the chalet. I learned Mahjong and so I played some Xbox and Mahjong before I go to sleep. Everyone was tired so we slept rather early.

Day 3

Number of people: 9

We finished up almost all the food (eggs and bread) and we are ready to leave the chalet. Yvonne went to pick up her family members to stay at the chalet and the boys accompanied Yu Liang to buy his Basketball shoes, and that is the end of the unsuccessful class gathering.

I saw some people said in their blog that this chalet is fun, but think about it, did you just come for the sake of coming or did you really have something on that you can't stay or come. For those who have no reason and you didn't even care to come, then I must tell you that I'm quite disgusted by you.

The new blogging trend

Have you ever read someone's post and until the end you realise that there's no ending to the post? But it looks like there's a space under the words that can be seen. Try looking carefully to see if you've missed any words, if not, then highlight that part which seems to have nothing there. I believe most likely you will find words there, and most likely very emotional sentences. I don't think I like this. It's bimbo-ish, so typical teenager style and most importantly if you want to write it out on your blog, just show it, don't bother hiding it.

This is so typical that I can guess what's going to happen next, someone, for example, the boyfriend of that blogger. He will go to her tagboard, then say something like, "Don't be sad, I promise to treat you better.". Or maybe the friend will go to the blog and try to encourage that person, bimbos may be touched, but I think real friends will encourage you face to face, not through a bloody tagboard.

I used to like reading one of my friend's blog, but recently her blog posts is so emotional(I don't know if her blog has gone into hiding, because currently no one seems to know her blog address), so I think I'll talk about her for a while. I seriously don't think you should call yourself a bitch when you're sad. If your family members or NPCC Sirs are really being very bitchy, give him/her a slap and tell them this, "Screw you bitch.". We will all regard you as a hero.

P/S: I'm not sure if her blog is supposed to be read by people, if it's not supposed to be read, I'm sorry, because I've read everything.

And as I'm about to finish typing this post, I found out something very shocking, Singapore Idol, Hady Mirza won the Asian Idol competition held in Indonesia. This is really shocking, I thought for sure the Indonesian Idol will win due to their large population, but no, Singapore WINS!!! Congratulations!!!

Omy.sg? LOL

I'm starting to dislike the Singapore Press Holdings, because I don't like the fact that they like copying Mediacorp. Mediacorp have a Xin.sg while they came up with a random Omy.sg later on. Mediacorp have radio channels while they have their 100.3 fm. Mediacorp have channel 8 and 5 and they have channel U and if I didn't remember wrongly, channel I. They tried to "fight" with Mediacorp, they critised Mediacorp in their newspaper for every little thing and for almost everyday, but with their lousy shows, they "lost the battle" rather quickly and Mediacorp took over their TV channels.

After that, they became quiet for a while, and now they start to critise Mediacorp in their newspaper again, and just because Mediacorp gave out awards to their DJs, they wanted to give out awards to their DJs too, and to show that they are actually more "fair", they included DJs from Mediacorp in their nomination lists, and allowed people to vote for the winner. After that, they printed the results on their newspaper and for every award there's the top 5 DJs. The results is kind of unbelievable, for the most popular female DJs, their DJs took all the places and for the male one their DJs took the first two places. How can that be possible? I bet they held a meeting and voted for the winner, the voting system on their website were just left there to fake the voting.

They allowed three DJs from Mediacorp to take up the bottom three places and then said that Mediacorp didn't allow the DJs to talk about their feelings after getting the awards. I don't think Mediacorp would do that, even if they did, it's to prevent the DJs from saying things like this.

SPH reporter: How do you feel after getting the award?

Mediacorp DJ: Hahahahaha!!! You know, your company really makes me laugh, that guy is the most popular male DJ in Singapore!? Ahahahahahahahaha!!!

Why can't they just admit they can never win Mediacorp?
