I wanted to blog.

I wanted to blog about the post that Yu Xuan said she's waiting for, but she refuse to send me a email that's needed for this post, so I'm sorry people. It's her fault, blame her.

I'm sorry for not updating for so long, but I've been really busy with all the school work. It quite a special week for me, because my birthday's on this week (Thursday), and I shall blog about my birthday celebrations some other day. We had our Chinese End-Of-Year paper yesterday, and it's really difficult (and it's both paper 1 and 2), but I've not been wondering about, instead I'm wondering about what happened during my paper 2. I was wondering why the teachers placed two fans behind me when I'm doing my paper 2. Ok, maybe it's their good intention, they are afraid that we will feel hot, but what the two fans did was just to blow at my legs and make my pants "fly". Ok, that's really cooling for my legs.

After the paper, I went to make my IC with my mother, and we met into a really good person who worked at the service counter. She wished me a belated Happy Birthday, which I had never expected. She told me I should have made my IC on the day of my birthday so the date of the day I made my IC would be the same as my birthday. And now I'll have to wait until when I'm 30 years old to do that.

There's also a question on my mind, can parents choose the time of birth of their baby? I thought I heard a father telling his daughter that when we were waiting for our turn. When I ask my mother if we she chose the time of my birth, she thought I was mad. Have I heard the wrong thing or that guy is mad?

I can't believe I've forgotten Forrest Gump

Most of you must be thinking who the heck is Forrest Gump after reading my post title. I wouldn't remember this show too if my sister hadn't reminded me. It's a Movie starring Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump, most of us wouldn't remember it because it's shown in 1994, when I'm two years old, but I remember parts of it as it was shown on TV before. When I watched it on TV, I was still quite young, so I wouldn't know how to appreciate it, but now when I watched it again, I realised it's a classic. The whole story is about this guy's life story, which is really interesting.

If you want to watch it, I'll suggest you watch it on tudou.com(it's free and it should be rather safe from the privacy thing, because the site's from China). This is a great website, you can also find many other movies here, but first you'll have to find the chinese name of the movie you want to watch. (that's easy, search the movie name on Google.com.tw and you'll find the chinese name of the movie). Now here's a trailer of the Movie.

Other than having watched the movie over the holidays, there's also some other things I want to blog about. There's always been a trend of studying late into night, like 2 or 3 in the morning(I know some people in my class like to do that), then this people will look so tired or even fall asleep in class the next day, I always thought that's kind of weird. Shouldn't we be paying attention in class? What's the point of studying so hard and missing out on the new things taught in class? Of course, you can study them on yourself again, but there won't be a teacher explaining them to you.

I also learnt something over the holidays, that is, it's not easy being a teacher now. I learnt that from my sister's university lecturer, because he said, "Now I have to think about your(the students) feelings, because you people are so Emo now.". That's true.

In the holidays we also had a NPCC course in school, and I thought it was rather random. There's also a worksheet to complete, and my group completed it today, but why can't I remember learning anything from it?

Happy Teacher's Day!

Sorry for not updating for so long, because I can't think of anything to blog about last week so I decided not to force myself to think of something to update. I've didn't get any inspirations until yesterday when the entire secondary 3 level went to the army open house at Pasir Laba camp. Nothing much there, saw some cool helicopters, tanks and some other vehicle. What I wanted to blog about is what I hear in the returning bus trips from there.

I had been hearing some really "bimbo-ish" comments about the "already over" campus superstar.

Here's a conversation between several bimbos.

Bimbo A: wah! why shawn win the competition, benjamin should!

Bimbo B: ya! shawn suck! (background: Vernon: I agree! I agree!)

Bimbo C: Benjamin's a hunk and he sings better.

Bimbo A: He's not only a hunk, he's hot alright, he's really hot.

Bimbo B and C: ya...(*nodding*)

I mean the competition is over for so long and you people are still discussing about it? ya maybe Benjamin's really a hunk and yes he really sang well on the night of the final but he sound so horrible in the campus superstar soundtrack.

Other than people talking about the campus superstar, there's also people singing. I'm not really against people singing in public(although it's kind of weird, unless you're in kbox), but I seriously don't understand why some girls like to look into one another's eyes, then sing love songs ever so gently and softly(awwww...). Are they going to kiss one another the next moment?

Today's teacher's day celebrations in school, and I went up in front of the whole school with Yu Xuan to annouce the results of the NPCC basketball competition held at Fajar secondary last saturday(well, we got champion). I must say I'll be quite lost without the help of Yu Xuan. I was really nervous, but I realise it's actually not that scary when I'm there. After that, we went back to class, take some photos with teachers, passed some present to teachers, ate some pizza that Yen Ting suggested on getting, played with water and then went back to my primary school, Teck Whye Primary School.

The old principal went to other schools, some said the new principal is a nerd, and saw many new teachers. I met many of my friends and also met my Primary 6 and 5 form teacher. My primary 6 form teacher is moving to Concord Primary next year, must go there if I want to visit her, but it feels so weird. Many of my classmates who looked like a giant few years ago actually became the same height/size like me. My teacher said I've grown the most, but I didn't notice it. It was nice talking to my friends, we don't seem to run out of topics, maybe because we haven't met for a year.

Nothing much else to blog about, so I'll end my post here.

I Wish All Teachers A Very Happy Teacher's Day!!
